Driver Side Door

I have a 96, 4 dr, 4wd with 150K miles. Several months back, i noticed that thedriver side door was a little loose when open, but didnt pay it much attention. It is now to the point where it really wont close. I tried changing the bushings for the hinge, but managed to break every single one. Seams that NAPA gave me some that were too small of an ID. After going to use my car this weekend, i found that the automatic lock on the driver side door wasnt working; but only for the driver side door. When i hit unlock, then lock, the dome light comes on while pressing the lock switch. When i went to start it up this morning, with the door shut and dome light off, the battery was dead.

Does anyone have any insight into the electical problem??
Can anyone tell give me some better info on how to change the door hinge bushings??
