1991 geo prizm

im maybe getting a 1991 geo prizm... 128,000 miles, everything is perfect, except for radio but would change out anywayz im wondering if these cars are also interchangavle with corollas, and what kind of problems they have.

most of the corolla parts are the except for body parts and dash parts, keep the oil changed and transmission fluid and filter changed, regular tune ups and have the axles changed. my 90 prism has 218,000 miles on it and still going strong

Be sure and have the timing belt changed out. These cars are recommened to have belt changed at 60,000. I bought one that had 120,000 on it and within the first month the belt snapped. I sure wish someone would have warned me about it. It's a lot easier to change the belt out than wait until it breaks. Also could cause damage to the engine when it lets go.

You have gotten some good advice. The motor and drive train is by toyota and the rest by GM.
