well ill probably get mixed reactions for this considering its a full size pickup but im chopping the bed down and doing it mini truck style with some wild tube chassis work and slammed to the ground. I began the kit a while ago and painted it 2 tone but i decided against wut i was doing and am rebuilding it. so wut do you think??

here is the tube frame im working on the tube frame is in the front and the old chassis is in the back which i decided not to use after doing some work to it. the second picture is of how im going to chop down the bed and and lower it, with the frame showing through. ill also change the bed of the truck to smooth untextured styrene to simulate sheet fiberglass, and maybe flocking? not sure yet stay tuned

I'm still trying to figure out why you're calling it minitruck style. Because it just looks like your dropping that truck. Can you clue me in a little better?

well usually full sized trucks that are dropped dont show any of the frame and im shortening the bed to the length more of a mini truck. as well as possibly shaaving down parts of the body if necessary. well thats my opinion anyway.

hows about molding the bed into the body unibody style?

Looks awesome dude! What are your colour planes for it? Or are you leaving it gold and blue?

I have a SVT lightning kit here, I want to make a dropped truck out of it but it doesn't have an engine or bonnet. Maybe if I find an engine I can build it up, I'll go look now actually.

the final color will not be 2 tone, i haven't decided on another color yet though. heres some update: the chassis is now extended all the way to the front, and i've begun modifiying the rear axle for 4 link setup.
