Hi Eyeryone
This may seem like a silly question but i'll ask it all the same!
I've got the spec and some pics of an R32 GTR running a T51 WITHOUT Air flow meter/s but WITH an Apexi power FC.
I asked around when i first installed my Power FC as to wether it is possible to remove the AFM's and convert but i was told only if i upgraded to a link or Motec.
Please can someone explain if it is in fact possible to do this and if so how?
Thanks everyone
PS If anyone wants to know why i want to do this.......i'm installing a pair of 2835's and i dont really want to have to shell out for bigger AFM's.

Yes, its called a D-jetro. I just bought a one, its being shipped from the states. Actually, the guy has 2 units, one of them being a D-Jetro, and the other being a L-jetro. He is rethinking the D-Jetro deal, and is seeing if I will take the D-Jetro. Either way, both kits will work for me.
He did tell me that the D-Jetro is a pain to set up, and you are limited on the boost level you can run. I am not sure if will work for your application because of the turbos you have.
If you want more info, I can post it on the D-Jetro.

Sorry, if you have seen a T51 run with a D-Jetro, it probably will work for your application, but it is a pain to set up.
How much have you been quoted for the 300Z air sensors? I might be able to sell you some. My power levels, I probaly will not need them, and I am getting some in the L-Jetro deal.

HKS has what it calls Vein Pressure Sensor to replace the AFM. But that's old story. Now, if you use the HKS F Con V Pro, it is built in in the ECU.

As far as I know, you cannot tune a RB26 with the HKS F Con in the states, but you can with a PowerFC. That is why everyone runs the PowerFC in the states.

There are also other options. If you use a piggyback ECU system, Greddy's eManage has an optional pressure sensor and harness so you can run a MAP sensor instead of the AFM.

Thanks everyone for clearing that up for me! I was getting a little confused with what was going on!
How would i know if i have the D-jetro version of the Power FC? I've only just bought it and wouldnt like to have to get rid!
I did have the greddy but got rid of it for the Power FC as the majority vote was for it.
Thanks for the offer SkylineUSA but i already bought some a while ago just in case ..... wish i knew you then!! :-(
I'm sure i saw a pressure sensor setting in the AFM type selection on the menu of the hand controller?
Thanks

You should have 2 Apexi Map Sensors for D-Jetro? Did it come with it?
Where did you get that unit from?

I bought it from a very ropey (dodgy) dealer here in the uk.
No it didnt come with any extra sensors. i take it that its not as simple as just adding two map sensors? do you know of anyone thats got a D jetro?
Thanks again for your help.

I know of only one guy here in the UK that has one. Where are you located? I live just north of Swindon.
I will see if I can find you his e-mail address.

I am still waiting for my unit, so I have not played with it yet.
This guy is the person you need to talk to glen@fc-datalogit.co.nz
If you cannot get a response to your questions, let me know.
