The last DVD I bought was Bad Boys 2 (awesome movie) for like 40 bucks. But, I got a free big-ass poster with it, top deal. New dvd's here are usually around 40 bucks, this one was 2 disk as well, So I pretty much got the movie for 20 bucks and that's cheap here. (AUD)

i just bought the wraith two days ago...i had never heard of it till we got it but my hubby said it was good...we watched it when we got home (other than "skank" and the horrible trip back to the 80"s ) i liked it!

I use walmart when Im looking for, ummmmmm...hmm. Well, I bought QUake III and a mouse there.

wal mart may have some good deals... but do NOT buy a bike from there!! Pacific and Next are the biggest pieces of junk and are ridiculously dangerous. It pisses me off that they'll try to make their components, such as disc brakes look like real ones when in reality their regular rubber V-brakes have better stopping power! don't even get me started on the suspension! grrr.... wal mart makes me mad

there's no walmart near me, like 40 minutes away. Last time I went was like 2 years ag when my company issued a $300 gift card. A bunch of rude people the one I went to, they all pushed and demanded. I ended up getting a 5.1 dolby surround sound system, sounds real nice on my xbox. Too bad one of the rear speakers broke so it's not true surround sound anymor e:(

This one dude was unloading a stereo on top of those shelves, he just threw em down instead of bringin em one by one down the ladder. One time my boss threw a monitor from a top of the ladder, well I couldn't really totally catch it (19 inch heavy motherfucker) and it just went *WUMP* to the ground. I was like "uhhh..." (First day working) then the boss was like "That's alright!! They better buy PSP!!!! (extended warranty) or else they fucked hahaha!"

hahahha...I have a Next, and you could not be more correct. Within the first year the front rim was bent, the rear gears were broken off on a few of the speeds, and the bearings in back didn't look like bearings anymore so I spent $180 gettin it fixed, talk about a waste of money, and the fuckers that repaired it broke my stupid grip shift deal on the right side but i never ride it anymore so whoopdee doo. Only good thing about it is that I could beat the shit out of it without worrying about it, where as my aunt's bf bought a $3500 bike and I'd flip if i broke somethin on that. He's got that newish rear shock that stay's stiff when peddling but as soon as you hit a bump it absorbs it or w/e, i thought that was cool, a lot of other neat stuff on it too but i dont remember the kind it is.

Here in Iowa though, we rely on wal mart pretty good. Food and beverages mainly, magazines, and i bought that 2 disc Texas Chainsaw Massacre DVD. oh yea, and i rely on them for my supplier of grocery karts, around here kids are pussies and I'm the only one that's actually stolen one, whether it's smart or not i dont care, it was funny.

Walmart is an ok place, but some things they sell are pieces of crap. I work at a Walmart and the only good things are discounts and the cars that pull up in the parking lot (I'll show the pictures later, but the one in my sig is one of them). A Lotus Elise 3 nights ago, A Viper RT/10 last wednesday, and a DC5 Integra last night (sadly I didn't have my camera). We get the occasional modified cars(a so called modified Civic with Lambo doors, but no hood :iceslolan ). Another good thing about it is that you meet all these hot chicks :naughty: .

Actually...I make a little over $1,000 a month so I think anyone my age would be impressed by that. Too bad my g/f works at Walmart too. The only real problem is that some of the managers can be asses and make crazy demands on what they expect you to do before you leave.

The only way you could kill someone with those is to stick it up somebodies nose and fire. It'd be different if you had to drive a forklift, but Wally World don't got those. Well, they have those power pallet jacks, but all those can do is run over your foot.

Well, you got to think, you can get hurt on any job for one, as a stockman you'd be taking heavy things off of shelves high up, things like that, and Wal-Mart is a huge corporation, it's not a fast food job. You may not start out at much per hour, but Wal-Mart really can give you a chance to work your way up and make some good money. Any big company is probably going to require a drug-screen for employment. Anything I've found outside of fast food will require one.

I wouldn't say they give you the chance to work up. In the Wal-Mart world, it's all about who you know.

If you aren't best buds with the store owner, forget about ever making more than 9 dollars an hour.

This is true. Advancement is possible in almost any job. I think I made that post cuz I was fiending for weed and was in a bad mood (wasn't thinking rationally) Problem solved at midnight this morning. :smokin: But I fuckin' missed Dave Chapelle!! :banghead:

Maybe mine just sucks but there is no avancement here. What gets me is they claim whe're the #2 in the country in sales.

It's true, the more a Wal-Mart makes, the less the "associates" make.

It's all where you are, companies are run by people, and if it's run by somebody who's more interested in money for himself and friends than he is helping everybody advance, then yeah, you'll run into that crap. You can see that in companies everywhere. I agree, most of the time it's just about who you know.

oh yeah, i've run into that myself. I worked at a Pizza Hut as a cook for about 3 months (don't worry, i was a nice cook, no spit etc. lol). the head mananager there woudl screw everyone over with paychecks and stuff. those who got paid most because the worked there longest i barely ever saw, she kept them on the clock because it helped her ratings look good, like peole stuck around, when they had to work another job to get decent pay cuz she'd only give them like 5 hrs a week. as for those who were new, she worked our asses off, but never worked mroe than 30 hrs each... that was her buffer so people wouldn't go into overtime. she'd have us use less ingredients on everything, because the less we used, the more money she made. i was entitled to a raise after 3 months... in 3 weeks i became the second fastest cook, asked for my 3 month raise, she denied it. oh yeah, and she also stole overtime hours from one of the girls working there (who has a kid and was pregnant at the time) said "she forgot to clock out" and then gave herself more hours by saying "whoops, i forgot to clock in 2 hrs earlier that day". she was a scary woman too... she used to ride a harley and got in a real bad accient... her face is scary lookin... and then she's a 2 pack a day smoker, so she has this awful voice... and she would scream at everyone!! damn... i'm going to talk to pizza hut manegement and see about getting her ass fired!
