Need Some Paint Help

I have a 1995 camaro z28 and i am wanting to repaint it dark grey can someone tell me if i can shoot the basecoat and clear coat over the painted surface since its in perfect condition or do i have to

sand it
primer it wet sand that and then shoot base coat and clear coat

and do i need to shoot a surfacer sealer after the primer it
1 prime
2 sand (wet)
3 surfacer sealer
4 base coat
5 clear coat

ehh...i dunno.. i wouldnt it might not last as long or stick good, but i dont kno much about paint

If the paint and clearcoat is in good shape you could just scuff it with a grey scotch pad. Then spray basecoat clear coat like normal. This is what you would do for putting stripes flames on top of a newer car with good paint. But still I don't know if I would reccomend it.

I sprayed the hood of my 86' maro with that shit one time.. stuff is bullet proof! I tried to key the car and it wouldnt leave a mark!
