1991 cavalier strange problem

my radio and wipers do not work unless i push the key in and turn slightly.this is when the the car is running. they do work on accessory fine ? anyone ever have this trouble?

Sounds like it could be in the ignition switch. They're usually more trouble than they're worth to fix. If that's the problem go to a junkyard and find a Cav/Sunbird or the like with the keys in it an swap it out.

That's just my guess... Anybody else have any more suggestions?

might be hard to find one with the keys in it. Best bet would be a dealer or ebay

Yea... If you can't find a junker try Ebay. Dealers will charge 2 times what you find it elsewhere. You can also try Autozone. The part's on their site catalog, but no price :-(
Pepboys would have it too, but I wouldn't let them install it (or come within 20' of your car)
