Loose seat

2000 Blazer, power, heated leather front seats. The seat back is loose from the seat bottom - you can move it forward and back almost a half an inch. Does anyone know how this is attached ? Also how in the heck do you move the leather cover off to see the seat internals ? Any help is appreciated as this rattles like crazy when no one is sitting there.

Thanks

Don't know about leather but I've got a '99 and the seat back adjuster has broken like 5 times. While my seats are cloth, there is an attachment directly under the rear seat back consisting of interlocking plastic pieces that needs to be undone - pretty easy. Then, the seat material can just be rolled up for the look-see.

The seat bracket with the adjuster, drivers left side, runs about $55 or so. They bolt on really solid so there must be something loose on yours. The whole seat can come out, too, if you really want to take a look at it. Just a few bolts on the floor and some connectors.

LOL

Well now there really is a problem.....there is something very loose that seems to be coming from the passengers seat. Every time I hit a bump it sounds like there is something heavy that is banging around...maybe under the seat ? I have no clue....
