BMW M3 MSG, Cobra, Subara wrx STI, Mitsubishi EVO8, or Porsche 930 w/slant nose option (1981)
Which one of those cars should I get??? I am torn between all of them. Basically the porsche has had custom work from kremer in germany, boosting at a max of 30 psi, but it just seems like it would be a huge hassle to keep it up. Other than that Which one of those cars do you guys think I should get???
Is there even much of an aftermarket for bmw M3's???
Your imput would be appreciated.
Anyone have any other suggestions?

If you want more of a luxury car, go with the m3. They are fast and yes, they do have a lot of mods for them. If you want a straight forward race car, go with the STi, already is built for racing, can upgrade it any which way and still expect it to perform reliably. As for the cobra, if its an 04 you could go that route if you like muscle car style. New ones are great cars for racing, doesnt take much to get one to haul some ass. Raced a lightly modded one at the track, ran a 12.3 on some kdw-drag radials. I'll post up a vid one of these days.

i don't like american muscle that much myself, so i say don't get the cobra. bmw's are one hell-of machines. and i also really like the sti so i would say its a tie between the sti and m3.

I wouldnt touch the Cobra. My first pick would be CTS-V.There you got luxury,a lot of musle(0-60 in 4.6 sec and 1/4 in 13.1),and styleing in the same package. Then the Jaguar S-Type R.Same reason for the CTS-V.Little slower then the Caddy but still an addrenallin rush. Then Id prolly take the M3.They got balls too and there nice, not to mention its a BMW.Then the STi,Porsche, and Evo8.Thats just me though. And Im not sure what your price range is,but good luck.

Why wouldn't you touch the cobra? Who makes teh CTS-V, and also what would an 04 M3 /w SMG run 0-6- a 1/4

basically, the cadillac cts-v is a cts with a corvette v-8 put into it. it actually is as fast as the 50th anniversary corvette.

I wouldnt touch the Cobra because I don't like Fords.Never have.Always thought they were junk from past experiences with them.Everyone I know that has one complains about it.Cadillac makes the CTS-V.And freaks right, its just as fast as the 50th Anniversary Corvette.

All of those cars (except the Porsche) have similar power potential and aftermarket support. When it comes to repairs and maintenance the M3 and the Porsche get expensive.
If you dont have an unlimited budget I vote for either the Evo or the Cobra. Cobra if you want an FR or muscle.
I picked the EVO over the STI because of performance numbers and the fact that the engine is a decade old and extremely easy and cheap to tune to high #'s. Also it doesnt have the crankwalk and reliability issues of the previous DSMs.
