Any opinions on which is the better short shifter for 99 Tib, B&M or OBX? They are the only brands I've found for a 99.

well, as you know obx makes copies of car parts and sells them. turns out, that they chose to copy the b&m shifter.
the b&m is supposed to be a 15 min install. just make sure you get the right one by looking at this.

another choice is the rside basic(AKA...shark racing short shifter). cutting is required to getit to fit though.
another choice, the rside advanced shifter. built similiar to the b&m one, but is adjustable. you can find rside stuff on www.kspec.com.....

From my experience the B&M is better as far as quality goes. I've had excellent experiences with them and would again and will on my next car.
