Driving down rt 58 last night going about 80kph and the light was yellow. I go thru the intersection and T-bone this little box car. The little car was totaled and the woman who was driving hit her head on the windshield and needed some stitches but other than that she's okay besides some whiplash. she didn't have her seatbelt on. I'm just happy that nothing worse happend. This was all about 12 hours ago so i've still got a lot of stuff to think about. my car drives and the guy who towed it said i could probably get it fixed for around 1500 bucks and I should fix it because I just got the JCI done on it so it's worth a lot of money. I know I was driving pretty quickly compared to how the japanese police want people to drive, but personally I'm just happy I wasn't driving as fast as I USUALLY do. Be carefull guys!!!! And the black beast should be back on the road soon enough, just need a radiator and some body work. (and maybe an RB26DETT, "but honey.... I had to get a different engine") hahahhahahaha.

foook your car looks horrible dude....... one thing i gotta ask though, if you were running the yellow like you claim then why are you the one paying to repair your car???? now in all honesty was it your fault and did you run the red or was it her fault. i'm not here to judge, i'm just saying that if it was her fault then she should pay for the repairs not you. Anyway, hope you get her back as good as new soon.

The light was yellow and I would have made it thru the intersection while it was still yellow had she not been there. But when I saw her I slammed on my brakes and pumped them twice. I would say right as I skidded over the stop line the light turned red because I was slowing down. As far as the insurance and who pays for what, shit is different in japan. Usually you pay to have your shit repaired and then get money from the other persons insurance company months later. Another reason I'm going to do it is because I really need a car because I live off base and I have to drive to work. So I just need to get the shit fixed quick.

that sux dude. bloody insurance not paying out, not to mention the lady not paying up too. I woulda tried to force the other driver at fault to pay for the repairs and then he would wait for his insurance to pay up, but maybe thats not an option here. too bad man, I hope its as good as new when you get it back though coz many friends of mine who have had accidents as bad as that have claimed their cars haven't been the same even after the repairs. Anyway, good luck with it.

not to mention in japan if you are an american it's at least partially your fault because if you werent there then you would not have gotten hit. so because you decided to drive your car, it's partially your fault. there is no one persons fault in japan. it's percentages. and I think i'm gonna get fucked when it comes to the JP's deciding my % of fault because I'm an american. and YES they really do this. I paid a 700 dollar speeding ticket for going 63mph. I love japan and I love skylines but goddamnit FUCK JP's!!!!!!! hahhahHAHAHhaHHAhAHhaHHAHAHhHAHAHAH

man those photos make me cringe, it hurts to see such a car in so much pain. But at least the engine doesn't look damaged, besides the radiator which you already mentioned. Man looking at the pics of your car before, it looks really clean on the outside, the paint still looks so glossy like its new. oh and those burnouts are sweet :p ah well, if you can get it in May its not that bad I suppose, just make sure you take it to a reputable repairshop and not just the cheapest one around.

Any of you guys read vette magazine? You know the "little wrecked vette" section they have every month about a car that most said was "totaled" but they refused to accept that and decided to fix it? I think those articles are my only motivation to get this fixed. I'm going around to a few places today with the pictures to see what they think. I'm also thinking now might be a good time for a front mount intercooler kit and fender. (if my wife doesn't fucking kill me)

my estimate was 1500-2500 to get it fixed. She's getting towed to the shop tomorrow. And the insurance company contacted me. Said it's 80% my fault because in japan, it's at least 70% your fault if you have a yellow light. 100% if you have a red. 0% if you have a green. plus I was going 20 over the speed limit so that's another 10% of the fault. so this means, that I am 80% at fault. that means that I have to pay for 80% of the repair cost of my car. and her insurance pays for 20 percent of my car. and my insurance pays for 80% of her car replacement and she has to pay for 20% of her car replacement. Japan is kinda strange like that but whatever, I'm so sick of insurance, police and dumb fucking drivers. my attitude right now: here's the money fix the fucking thing!

after evaluating the situation with a good mechanic we realized that the car was too fucked up. the passenger side wheel is about 1 inch further back than the driver side front wheel so... it would never drive the same. so ..... engine is for sale, i have a few people asking me about parts already so... that's cool. I we today and put a downpayment on a 1991 5 speed GTS-t. it's almost the exact same fucking car. black. 2 door. the only things different are it has less mileage and a moonroof. cost of this new beast- 360000Yen or about $3500. So I'll have her in a week or two. Fuckin A!!!! what a week.

oh yeah, here's what i looked at today.
91 supra 1jz 3500 bucks. drove it, didn't like it. dirty car.
91 skyline RB20DET 3500 bucks, drove it, peeled out in 2nd on a test drive and my wife slapped my. put a DP on it.
93 R33 4 door GTS25t 5999 bucks. too ugly, it was turquoize and a 4 door. nasty
93 R32 2 door silver, same as my old car but different color, 5500 bucks, too much for that car.
95 R33 with red badges. 4 lug wheels???? WTF so I look under the hood -> RB25DE only thing this car had going for it was it was stick. but at 5500 bucks it was a little too much. cause i do still owe 3500 on my crashed skyline. And all of the cars considered were manual transmission.

cancel that, I got my money back and went and got the 93 R32 2 door silver. Talked the guy down a lot, the car was in better shape than the 91 anyway. So it looks like I'm going back to the same car I had in the first place. My other car is getting junked, they are picking it up monday. I am taking the engine out this weekend. I striped the fucker already. Just gotta get a cherry picker. I get my car tomorrow, I'll post up some pictures and make a cardomain site. Here's some pictures of me beating the shit out of the old car and striping it bare with the help of my friend barnes.
