Got my new Prelude!

Yesterday I picked up my new Prelude but I´m going to post more about it later because I´m too tired of driving around for 18 hours!:o :)

I don´t like it, I LOVE it!;) Really! It´s a damn nice car. It´s has run about 25.000km yet but the engine is brand new because the first one was one of these "millenium-problem-engines" (it has been built in year 2000). It has got the red Type-R valve cover because it´s an unmodified ATR engine, at least the dealer told me that. So it has got the normal 200hp engine in it. But I haven´t driven it over 4.500rpm yet because I have to "drive it in" first (??). So I haven´t hit VTEC much yet. But it´s already pretty fast in at 4.500rpm!:) It has got climate control, cruise control (or system or whatever) and remote control stock and I´ve ordered clear turning lights, DC-Sports front upper strut tower bar, Eibach springs and Koni yellows at the garage of a good friend of mine today. Exhaust sounds fine so I´m not going to change it. I´ll drop it about 3,5 cm so I hope I won´t need a camber kit for that drop.
The only problem with the car is that it has been outside over the last few months in a very cold and snowy region of germany. So it was full of snow and ice in the last weeks and the stupid mechanics of the dealer just put it of with a brush and now it has got scratches all over the paint!! But I´m going to get it polished professionally so that most of the scratches should be gone after that. My friend with the garage has already taken some pictures with his digital camera so that I should be able to put some pics in here in the next days. But it´s really dirty from the 630km travel to take it home yesterday. I´ll put some new pics in here again when it´s lowered and polished.
Finally everything will be fine at the end and I`m really really happy about it!!!:) :) :)

No, I don´t have got ANY money left to buy new rims. I´m fu**ing poor now. :D I want to keep the stock ones anyways because I like them on the car. But it could need some new tires because the stock ones aren´t that good IMO. But now I have to save up some money again first....

Very nice car veetec! Congratulations. With an atr engine in it, very special i think so. The engine compartment looks really clean. What was the 'millenium-engine' problem then? Never heard of it.
You should be nervous(?) to wait for hitting the engine in vtec for the first time?

Really nice. I can´t wait to hit VTEC!!!....only a few hundred kilometers left......:) I just called it millenium-problem because it happened in y2k and IMO it doesn´t happen that much that a VTEC engine has to be exchanged!;)

There is a white prelude down the road from my house with the honda bodykit and it looks very nice.

Darren Of course I have fun with it!! The engine is just fantastic...especially when VTEC is kicking in.:D I can´t wait to get the new suspension on it.
