Hypertech Power Prg III(changing shifts points?)

does anyone know what is a good way to change the shift points with the hypertech power pgrammer for a 98 trans am automatic. I know i can adjust the shift point + or - 5 mph and i was curious to know which would be the most benfical to do with a 3.73 gear installed.
