not sure i am familiar with that game but i would bet it is because they only do a small number of cars (compared to something like gran turismo) and they probably only do cars that are currently being produced. that is my guess anyway.

Yea but they have Supra's and RX-7's and such on NFS Underground.I think its because people think that the 3KGT's are underpowered and heavy. As far as the 300zx...no clue.

NFS underground was like the ultimate ricer game. It was still fun to play, but most of the cars on it were like cars that were popular in the ricer world.. Anyone else find it kind of weird that the RSX was one of the fastest cars in that game? Our cars just aren't very popular, and aren't held in as high regards as the supra or the rx-7. There's still some games that have them though. Gran turismo has our car and there's a new game coming out (forgot what it's called) that has it too. SegaGT 2000 and SegaGT Online have the 300z. But I still say it's cuz our cars aren't really that popular and liked as much as the others....

Screw that game, nothing tops GT3 A-Spec

Its only because they only include ricer dream cars and most of them dont know crap about other sports cars, only the ones featured in FnF...

Yah, I feel the same way. There aren't real cars in NFS vGROUND.

eclipse GSX? Skyline GTR? those are some pretty fast cars in NFSU, and are pretty fast in the real world, but no 3000GT! :(

I personally like that it's not featured too much, keeps our car's abilities less known...come race time...they find out.
A-spec was a very hot game, I definantly enjoyed that, but thought it really funny that the 3000gt pushed out over 1000hp. Wish we really had that kind of aftermarket.

I second that. I'm happy the 3000gt isn't that popular of a car. Popularity does bad things to a car. Of course, the aftermarket support would grow which would be nice, but I love the fact that the car is rare, and a lot of people don't know what it is. It's especially fun with the SL, 'cause people underestimate you and then race you expecting to win, and end up losing and getting pissed off. Then they justify their loss by sayin you shoot nitrous... lol.

supra, skyline, rx7, those are all good sports cars, some of the best!

This is pretty funny I was just playing that game today and thinking the same thing...or yesterday since its almost 2 am....The game is pretty fun to play but the most of the cars aren't consisnt with real-life performance. I like that our cars aren't very popular especialy when people are like "wow what the hell is that?", or when ricer civics come up and try to race you. But it would be nice to have more aftermarket support.

If we did get more aftermarket support I don't think people would start ricing our cars. I don't know if our cars are riceble (I don't think thats a word). I'm not sure, but I don't think the production numbers were that high for the 3s. Thats probably a reason for the lack of an aftermarket.

Paul Walker drove a red SL in the prelude to 2f2f... It makes me cry....

You know...I know that I said how I like that people don't know anything about our cars...but it does get a bit ridiculous. The misconceptions/misinformation given off by so many about our cars really leads me to wonder.

I figured I'd post this link to prove my point...(hoping it doesn't turn into a battle like the last one of these in the acura forum.)

Nah, It's not a slur againt asians. Atleast I don't inturpert it that way. Its refers to the kind of person who drives an import and thinks that undercariage lights and shift knob make your car go fast. Basicly ignorant people who are too influenced by The Fast and The Furious. As far as where "rice" came form, it was probably first used by guys in domestic V8's who look down upon the smaller engined cars from Japan. But now knowledgable car enthusists, import and domestic alike, have separated themselves from and identified who "ricers" really are. No insult intended. :)

in the world of cars the word ricer is a definition of anyone ignorant of vehicles. like saying my mustang came stock with a intercooler :screwy: or my civic has a rotary engine :screwy: or i put exhaust and intake on my car i should be able to run the 1/4 mile in 10 sec. believe it or not thats what alot of people think. ricer came from the sound of a coffe can muffler on a honda sounding like its grinding rice and is loud but making no hp gains.

i understand your concern! racism is a no no :nono:
