Greetings and salutations fellow mustang miscreants. It's been a while since Ive posted anything... Too bad so sad in the garage and at work. This however is the update to my school wadger against a Supra Twin Turbo. Quick update on my lil 5.0 that could, Turbonetics turbo kit, AFR Heads, 3.73 gear, T56 trans with dual friction clutch, and so and so on... For those of you who even remember me god bless you.

Supra is creamed by a little more than three car legths from what my friends said along with many damns... and shits... The guy in the supra was quite angry at the loss of his 700$ then he told me from a rolling start just so he could show me that import tuners are where its at. Whatever it is I dont care where it is I dont want it. I still stomped him from a rolling start laying down a nice patch of rubber in 2nd gear.

The night ended with me 1200$ richer, and now Im getting ready for a paint job. Basically when you beat someone's ass someone has to be king of the hill. Needless to say the car's first night out in turbo trim tore apart many a person, including a modular cobra, a camaro SS, an SRT-4, and an Evo. A nameless civic gave me the best run of them all. CRX to be exact. The car owner had track time slips in the mid 11's. Although not in that order, it was SRT, SS, SVT, EVO, CRX. My friend has dubbed my car the mustang from Hell. Fortunately for me most of the kids there were all people with stock cars who's parents paid for everything. Mine was the only car with a cam. The CRX guy is gonna rematch me at Route 66 sometime this summer aparently, I look forward to that. I'll post an officail time slip then cause, well... My car doesnt see very much track. lol

How do you have a turbonetics turbo kit for your car? Turbonetics doesn't make or sell a kit, nor headers for mustangs.

Sorry about the kit miss info, the site I ordered the kit from had a turbonetics banner above the 5.0 kit. I do have a pic, how do you post them? lol

I would quit my day job but I see getting arrested in the near future could put me out of business. Besides there's always some old man at the street races that will put you to shame. Luckily that night I was the old man in younger less old form. lol

HP is 475+ give or take a few, I have to look for the dyno print out so as not to be further mistaken... People are quick to stab you in the eye for saying the wrong thing.

Here's the exact kit, Street Sleeper Turbo System (Fox):
- Garrett T-44 or T-61
- T3/04 Stainless Turbo Header
- Passanger-Side Shorty Header
- 3" Downpipe
- 2 1/4" Crossover Tube
- Y-Pipe with Ball Flanges
- 2 1/4" Black Intercooler Piping
- 3" Bar-Plate Intercooler (Vertical Flow)
- Silicon Intercooler Hose
- Cartech Billet Fuel Pressure Ragulator (FMU)
- Hi-Pressure In-Tank Fuel Pump (255 lph)
- Racing Wastegate w/ Hi-Temp Diaphragm
- Cartech Boost Gauge & Mount
- K&N Air Filter
- All Hardware & Fittings for Installation

Although with a T64

If I missed anyone's questions I'll post another reply on another date just cause Im kinda lazy like... Just got home from a 10hr shift

Rough estimation, about 6500k in the motor, 1400k in the rear end, 2000k in brakes, 3000k in the trans clutch driveshaft etc... Damn I spent too much on my car... About 12k dollars with nothing invested in the appearance of the car. The appearance is next. I bought the car 2 years ago for 2k dollars and it became a project as soon as the trans blew apart the first time. Basically I wanted to know why and how and that became a T56 from Steeda... Damn they rip you off nobody ever order from them. Then since I was dropping a load on the trans I decided to do the clutch and cable. Then I went with a Pro 5.0 Shifter to top things off. Then I ended up investing a tax return on an engine block from Summit Racing. Then I decided I wanted to do nitrous, then supercharger then I didnt know what I wanted and my dad forced the turbo issue. My dad's the one that turned this into a money pit, he's built many a hotrod and currently runs a 67 firebird with a 4.88 Gear.

Back to the subject at hand. With the trans done I felt I need more power for such a nice piece of hardware. Then game the gear swap which was accompanied with an Eaton posi unit because of the 177k miles on my diff. Fallowed by the great axle speech by dear old dad. Then my motor mounts were shot. Those were replaced by polyurathane ones. Still nothing invested in my new short block. Upon reading MM & FF I decided AFR 185s where the heads to have at 1375. Then came a E303 cam for emissions reasons. Then came a set of ford racing rollor rockers. and so and so on untill I eventually went broke. Basically I was able to afford my mods cause I make 24k a year and still go to school with only a car insurance cell phone and tuition payment. Im still not done and very embarrased by the shape of my car's body with its oxidation and hail damage. yet that's next on the list in the recent months I hope to finish that. Basically my car is one stupid question after another being answered with huge investments. About 350 a month for 2 years and counting. How funny how everyone thinks 1200$ is a nice chunk of change considering it's about 10% of my total investment, Id have to race 5 cars a night for about 10 weekends and never loose. This is how you build a car right for anyone who wants to know. Spend spend spend. Oh and Ive done alot of the work but mostly I assited my dad, and the diff was done by World Transmission in Chicago. The turbo tuning was done by a friend of mine working at his uncle's shop in Barrington IL. I did alot of work and worked alot of hours to spend on my car. A few things my car doenst have which alot of people seem to buy first. Racing Seat belt covers... A monster Tach.... ( I can see the factory tach and shift on the engine sound) Billet anything... Chrome Anything... Rims... Window Tint... Hood.... Hood scoops... stereo... racing seats... extra gauges... other than the boost gauge... stickers... after market spoilers.... and the best mod, a money sucking gf. My girl friend has a mustang and leaves me to squander my money. As does she though. While my car sucks money once a mod her's does it via monthly payment, and high insurance rates. 03 Mach 1. So which one of us is truly wrong here? Thus no complaints... unless we're hungry... or want to drink... lmao I would go into more detail of how much each individual thing cost but I think this was way more than anyone wanted anyway.
