i currently have a 1987 mazda rx7 gxl and was wanting to put an aftermarket intake on the car. i have been looking around but i can only find intakes that would fit on 1989+ rx7. aren't the fc's 1986 to 1991 all the same. i was wondering if an aftermarket intake from like an integra or some other common import would fit cause the people that i ask they said that all i have to do is find an intake with the right size of piping and it will work. i wanted to ask people that are more familiar with these cars. thanks for helping me out.

You have to keep the AFM on there unles you run an independant ECU that doesnt rely on the AFM. Otherwise, go nuts.

Hey, I do what I can. I'd like to drive her home, but pulling her with a truck will do, as long as I'm getting one :)

hey everyone in a ghetto speed shop sells intake kits for a S4 RX7, try procarparts.com, they got some intakes for real cheap.
thats where i got my first intake b4 i made my custom cold air.
all you need to pop on a filter is a MAF sensor adaptor, those are usually like 10 bux
