if you go to machv.com it will tell you it really doesnt do anything for turbocharged DSMs, but it does work on non-turbos...i wish i could explain it from the top of my head, but i cant....sorry...but check it out....and if you do decide to buy it, let us know how it works out...

That website is for actually reprogramming the ecu, the link that chavez put up is just a resistor. The resistor does not work on turbos or NT cars.

Doesnt that thing tell the ECU or MAS that your putting in less fuel so it thinks your going at slower speeds to when your not to save you gas money?

it tells the ecu that the incoming temp of the air is at the min temp on the scale, so the engine always compensates fot the denser air with more fuel. in theory it works simple but i'm sure it is just another way to make 5.00 on ebay out of something that you can buy for like 10 cents
