You got your O2 sensor hook up? Wires broken? I think you need a scanner to reset the check engine light. If you want I can look up in the computer in my shop too see if there is a switch or anything on the ECU.

Yep....i think it sounds like a shop job to reset the computer.

If all the O2 sensors are hooked up correctly and they haven't been damaged you could try disconnecting the battery for a couple hours. That should reset it. Oh yeah make sure the O2 grounding strap is connected properly too.

Oh 2000? My shop's computer data is up to 98....that...I would recomment you to call Jwt up and ask them. You probably don't want to let your dealer know that for now.
Or I would try a new O2 sensor. The sensor may got damaged when you put your header on.

You mean this pain in the butt light? I got rid of it by following the manual on how to reset and check the fault code on the ECU unit. First, find out the fault code on your ECU. Then keep trying at least 3 times if the code will remain the same on 3 trials. I thought I had to change my EGR valve because it gave me the code for it. I tried the 2nd time, it still was code 32. Then, after the 3rd time, the code went to 55 w/c was freakin' normal. So, after that 3rd trial, the light was gone!!! This freakin' light went on for about 3 weeks! Maybe it was a matter of luck for me, but try it!
