Does anyone know if theres a product that buffs away stone chips in a windshield? Or can it be done at a shop? I tryed using turtlewax rubbing compound, then turtlewax wax, and although it made my windows look really shinny and nice, I want to get rid of the stone chips.....

if the winshield has not started to split around the chips then any place that does windhsield repair should be able to fill them in

Check with Eastwood, thay have a glass polishing kit that will take out small pits and scrathces (eastwoodtools.com). For chips and dings you should take your car to a professional.

I'm not sure if I should call them dings or chips, but its the little tiny round spots you would notice on your windshield after about a month of having a new windshield, but they are very very fine....

either way any pro glass shop can take one looka t it and tell you whats up.....its not like you have to pay to have the counter rep walk out and take a look at your shield. Swing it by and see whats up
