i'm going to receive my blitz blow off valve in a few days. i was wondering what would be the best way to hook it up on a almost stock engine? i know that if i vent it to air, it will cause a huge boost leak, stalling the car. venting to air produces the best sound. if i vent it back to the intake stream, no boost leak, but im sure that it will not sound as loud. i heard that you can hook up an aftermarket bov with ur stock toyota bov and they will work side by side, as the stock bov will vent to the intake stream and the aftermarket will vent to air. i am asking what would other people do. i am looking for sound but if engine is going to stall, then forget it. also, how does the dual drive on the blitz bov work? o, thanks projectsupramk3 for all the help man, so glad ur back on this forum. they sound start paying you.

There should be some adjustment on the BOV, that you can tighten it up with to stop the stalling problem, if you even have one. Just throwing it on though will probably cause it to stall when you let off at stoplights and such. So you should be able to vent it to atmosphere just fine if you tweak it alittle. Did you get a new hardpipe to put it on by the way? Just getting the BOV won't do much good if you can't hook it up to the intake. Can't help on how the DD works, never looked into it. Thanks for the kind words, I doubt anyone would pay me to answer questions but it's a nice idea. :)

it didn't come with a hardpipe, but i can easily make one since i am taking welding.

Nice, knowing how to weld is a very handy skill, best thing I ever did. Just make sure you roll a lip into the ends of the hardpipe so the hoses won't pop off.
