is it possible to put vented brake discs on a car that has solid discs. would i need to change the calipers?

Hi, it is possible but go down to your local factors and see what the difference in pads are. That will detremin if the calipers are interchangable. Cheepest way to get round any difference is a visit to you local breakers & see if a write off looks the same. Then just mix & match.
