98 Corolla engine swaps? and performance!

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can swap the Corolla's 1ZZ-FE with the 2000 Celica GT-S's 2ZZ-GE it's basically the same engine just the celica has the new generation heads. but the problem is with all that 80 hp difference will you need to swap a transmission too?
That's basically it for that, but i just wanted to say i have been searching on the 98 Corolla for some time and if anyone has trouble finding parts i've pretty much found anything for the corolla!!!

ive got the 98 prizm but its the same motor as the rolla with the 1zz-fe. ive found some nice stuff for the rolla like a turbo kit, but thats just to much money for me to drop into a car. what other parts have you found for bolt ons. i have an intake and ignition upgrades, and ground system. what other parts have you found and where did you find them because ive got the looks down its time to go motor now id appreciate the help.

Here are the basics.

You need the ENTIRE front clip from the Celica GTS. Why? Engine mounts are different, ECU is different, transmission is different (6speed rather than 5speed, ship cables, gear shifter, yaddda yadda... not cheap. The cheapest I've found was on E-bay for like 4K.

Belive me... I've spent a lot of time in the junk yard looking at stripped down corollas and celicas, the over-all designs are different.

The ECU in the celica is behind the left headlamp, while it's in the center console of the corolla. Plus my friend says that you would need to get the wiring from the ECU to the VVTL-i sensor in the engine...

so much to do!

um... might as well just trade in the corolla for a celica or put a turbo on it for about 3K
