i can honestly say that i have never seen anyone selling a produced hinge. i think you might have to fab up your own, or atleast get someone to do it for you...

Yeah, there are a few companies that make a universal lambo door hinge kit, but I think you'd havta do something to lighten the door.. I can barely carry the thing myself.. let alone a little gas strut

wow, 2 grand for the coolest doors on earth, i dont know what to think about that. tell ya what though, you wouldnt have to worry about the door weight so long as you get the kit with the actuators...

I know.. its damn expensive... for two chunks of metal and a hood strut.. There's gotta be a way a guy could fabricate his own?

Yeah i have seen that website. Not sure if they would work on a camaro.
I guess I'll contact someone online who has had it done to a Camaro before.
Thanks tho,

Well Ive been looking into these doors recently as well...if anyone knows a way you could do it yourself let me know...it seems so simple and not worth 2 grand.

all you really have to do.... its like you'r trunk latch/release.. but in the doors. im sure its not that hard to do with the proper tools. certinaly not worth 2 grand .. or even 1000... what would really impress me is... you know on some cars how you can push a button and have you'r trunk open all the way for you?.. put that in ur hood.. and attach it to you'r keys. so when people say pop your hood... all you say is stand back and push a button :)

Well you can get an actuator kit for your doors too that lift open on their own.. But i think its an extra 600 bucks..
I think it's a little more complicated than a simple hatch release.. Your door would havto pull away from the car a little bit to clear the locking mechanism, and so your glass would clear the A-pillar

only probably with the hood idea, it still needs to latch or if your doing over 30 its highly possible for it to fly off.
