Revell Colors

Hi,
I'm new here and I want to start with a question right away :iceslolan
but don,t worry, I read the FAQ :)
has anyone ever painted with Revell colors? since I'm from switzerland, Tamiya colors are quite difficult to get... I don't know how it is with tamiya colors, but revell colors take forever to completely dry... so the dust on the wet color is a real problem, I tried that microwave idea, but it only brought a small improve...

we already talked about Testor (crappy) paint. Most of us hate it

testors is good paint for interior, thats the only paint i use for interior, but for outside colors, i go with tamiya, BTW the best color testors has is chrome in spray cans, forget alclad II thats like 8$ and the testors chrome is only 2-3 bux!

testors paints are nice. i like there jar paints to airbrush. i have yet to see tamiya n bottles. but boyd makes nice paints, and model masters

I always use testors on my interior. And tamiya spray paint for the outside. Im not surre if you can or can't but i wonder if you can order paint off the internet?

Been there done that. I have used revell paints and found they need thining even to brush on. Spraying by airbrush is ok once they have been thinned. The problem is all their paints differ in quality/consistency so thinning is a trial and error excercise but they do do some colours that Humbrol don't which is why i've used them in the past.:p

I always thin the paint but it doesnt work
