I've recently replaced the front shocks and driverside balljoint on my 90 GT and now the driverside tire leans in at the top. This causes the car to pull to both sides with out notice. I've been told to put on the adjustable caster/camber plates. What I don't understand is what will cause the tire to lean in. The other tire sits just fine.

My first guess is something in the way you replaced your ball joint? Otherwise, the tire should sit pretty much as before. These cars only have toe-in/toe-out adjustment. There is are three holes in the top strut plate but this should be preset from the factory.

Did the tire sit that way previously?? If not, I'd look at your balljoint repair.

The front struts have nothing to do with alignment. There are just two bolts to the knuckle and can only go in one way. I've done that job on my (previous) '92 LX.

It's hard to imagine why you have so much camber like that unless it has something to do with your repair?? Has the car been in a front end accident? I ask for a reason.

LOL

Get some C/Cs have an alignment done, and you are good to go.
