i was wondering were i could get the preformance specs ie enigne, trans...any help is appericiated.

One of the best sources of info I have found for those older trucks, like yours, my 52, and so on, is GMs antique vehicle division. For a small fee, and your VIN number, they can provide you with all the original specs for your truck.

I have done this on a couple of occasions in the past, and the service has been really good.

Try to get your local dealer to give you the number, otherwise, GM customer service should have it.
