The other day i was driving my gp and hit an enormous pothole. Im not sure what it did but it sounded like a had a flat right after i hit it. I pulled over and there was no flat so i drove home and took the right front wheel off where the vibration was coming from. There was grease all over the place. There was also a metal ring off of the cv joint boot so im fairly sure the grease is from there but could the vibration be the cv joint? i would post a picture if i knew how. Im praying i can just get the boot repacked with grease and be done with it because those cv joints are damn expensive. Any ideas or has anybody replaced the cv joint on there gp?

You can repack the boot. Should be ok as long as you dont wait too long because dirt will destroy the joint.

Well the vibration could be due to a tie rod. Are they on well condition? One way to check is to disconnect it from the spindle and check if the shaft is too soft to move. If it moves effortless then that is the vibration. If you can replace the CV Joint or repack it ASAP. You do not want to end with a desmembered tire.
