AMT elcamino Progress Update

well my elcamino is close to done. i am delaying the clear till after spring break next week, i will be gone all next week. i will work on it when i get home.

I got some more work on it, i need to add guages and more interior detail, ad soem red accents little stuff.

looks good, Sk8er681 it is shiny because it is sliver and the light is shiny on it.

yea the silver is really shinny, i wish i could tone it down, thats ok, it looks good inside the car.

IF you hit it with a coat of dullcote it will look more realistic

nice paint, and the superchared 402 is very nice as well!

thanks huys, i am going to add a clear coat and window trims, i did masking on it and on the roof line sort of peeled the paint, so i am not sure, i will mask after i clear.

Personally I think everything (except the body&engine) is too glossy. Like the frame, and interior look too shiney to me, unless youre going for a hot rod style chassis frame.

well the interior i am sparying with a dullcoat like a guy up said i should do, the chassis, i am leaving, it is a hotrod so the frame will have more chrome. i need more chrome parts, and black body details

well ran into a slight delay. not a major one thankgod. i added window trim and clear coat. but the hood was the last i did, and well the paint was really black, so when i cleared turned the hood black.....aww.....

plan to fix it......well wet sand off the clear save some of the paint, and add silver to my paint. reshoot, clear coat done! easy to fix. just getting the right color of silver!! :(

fixxed the hood thank god! i mixxed new color. i need to clear coat. i am going to add some details on the scoops they will eb black

well i am waiting to buy a dull coat for the interior, then i will be done! i need the dull coat ebcuase my interior is gloss and looks funny. I will get ASAP
