help please....stereo/lights/AC/speedometer cuts out...

hey....i have a 03 focus and its seems like im overloading my electronics cuz my stereo/headlights and AC cuts off and back on, and sometimes my speedometer will drop for a sec and then pop back up. at first it was just when i had everything on at once, like when i had my ac low and my lights and radio on, everytime i put the window up or down everything would cut off for a sec, but now even when i have NOTHING on my radio clock display will cut off for a sec. any ideas? would a shorted wire do that or somebody told me the battery may be too small? its the original battery but i had 3 ppl check it and its fine. i havent got a chance to check the water in the battery yet...thanks for any help...

BTW>>i brought it to the dealer once and they couldnt find anything wrong but they put a brand new radio in it, but its still doing it. i just want an idea of what it could be when i bring it again so they dont tell me they dont know whats wrong with it. thanks

I had the same problem a while back and I found out it was my alternator going bad. Hope thats not your problem but I bet it is.....

bc of your ac, which is a big power hog, your stero's and your lights and other chit, your drawing to much power for your alternator, a bigger one is needed, the stock one is prolly 65 amp try a 80-100, and a stero capacitor might help,
