Just want to know. I just swapped out my H23 for a H22 vtec JDM. Running into wiring problems since JDM will not hook up to the existing wiring connectors on the car. Do I have to use the H23 wiring harness and route it myself? I know vtec will not work but just want the car to start so I can drive it to get the vtec hooked up. Do I need to change out the ECU since i went from an auto to a manual transmission? AND.... Do I need to rewire my distributor since its and internal coil? Help me out. How do I wire this thing?

You use the h23a wiring harness. I am currently running the p14 myself, until I get some time this weekend to wire the two VTEC wires up. It runs decent enough, with a slight bit of knock.

You do have to change the ECU for manual and auto. You'll be needing the 5sp p13 anyways.

You use the external coil from your h23a. It plugs right in. There is no rewiring anywhere except for the VTEC solenoid and pressure switch.
