You shouldn't decide which turbo to run based on how much PSI you can run, but for a close guess, i'd say 26psi on a Big 16g, and 20g; 27psi. Not that it matters a whole lot what other people can do with their turbos.

with all the mods I'm doing to my car *they're listed on here somewhere* would it really be safe for me to boost 20+ psi? and would it even make any more power?

I would say you could definately run 20+ it will all depend on tuning. The engine should handle it fine, so there should be no limiting factor to cause knock. Good intercooler and the turbo doesn't lose any pep up high, so yeah.

Its a tough question to answer, becuase its kinda the wrong question to ask :) The turbo should be chosen based on power goals, which then tell you how much airflow you need. Airflow is power, boost is excess flow that backs up in the intake manifold.
For a normal 2 liter, a 14 and 16g can go to 25 psi with race gas porperly supported. A 20g will do 30 psi. But increase flow with ported 1g head, sheet metal intake manifold, etc, and that can drop by as much as 5 psi. SOme poeple will mistake the 5 psi drop with a drop in HP output. In reality, you make more power. Airflow is power, boost is heat. So if you can max out the turbo with less boost, youre better off. Someday I need to do a nice jewer style novel on that subject..... :D

Hey 95 GSX racer....I have a question. On your site it sayas that your friend with the TSI Talon that he took out the cruise control for weight reduction. Is it really worth taking that out and is it easy to take it out?

It doesnt save much weight. But it makes working in the engine bay much easier, especially if you pull the tranny often. There are other minor benefits as well. Its not hard, but you need to buy the correct non cruise throttle cable which is a bit tough to find since no 2g turbo came without cruise. But there is a cable off some car that works. I have a PN somewhere. About 30 bucks.

how much boost can a 2g eclipse handle on stock internals with all the supporing mods.

Its not how much boost, its how much power. 25 psi on a 14b with minimal mods would be very different from 25 psi on a 60-1 with all the goodies. ;) But I would make up to about 400 whp before I started to worry, and up to 450 or so cautiously.
