Well I saw this today when I went to barnes&nobles.
It is the same exact book as the paper-back one. Check out this link and see what is wrong....hee hee

Buy the hardback :)
I went and bought it for my library because my 1996 orig. soft-back is worn out.
I was disappointed; it would have been nice if Thom added at least some more demos or something, but the book is exactly the same, except for the cover...hee hee.
We need to recommend to him that he have the various artist mentioned in his book to do some demos in addition to his, or perhaps he add more demos himself, if he ever does another book. I know the guy is busy but I am just venting.
Most of us non-college art peops get our knowledge from books if ya know what I mean.

Yes, but I didn't want anyone getting the paper-back when the hard-back exists, some peops may not know that.
Plus the hardback is cheaper than the paperback, some people never go into barnes&noble or their website and would not know that.
Amazon.com doesn't have the hard back. I only shop at amazon except when I phyically go into barnes&noble and just happen to see it, so I my self didn't know untill today.
Plus we have a lot of new peops.
Plus I need more posts in my name...hee hee, just messin.

Hey al, i took your advice (i read in 1of your posts) to get that book....but...i went to barnes and noble and spent like an hour looking for it. I looked in the art section and then used thier little computer thingy and it said it was in the automotive books section and was in stock...so i looked there and couldn't find it. then i asked someone for help and still didn't find it....all that i found was How to draw aircraft like a Pro :grinno: ...sooo im gonna have to get it off the web now.... thnx for telling me about the hard back thing though.(guess things worked out for the best :p )
