upgradin brakes

im gunna be doin a brake upgrade soon and i was wantin to know does ebc make good pads i was lookin to get their 4x4 pads and then what about their rotors anyone know much about their "EBC Sport Grooved Sport Brake Rotors"
any sugustions or thoughts????
this will be goin on a 1996 chevy k1500 4x4 z71 with the 350 5.7

Be patient!
My 99 just turned 80,000 miles, and my pads are about 40% worn all the way around.
This means I'm looking at 2010 and about 160,000 before a brake job!!!
My personal (Hands down) favorite brake compound is Ceramic, I've used it several times with great out-comes. No zero zip, not even a squick of sound comes from your brakes, and they are very low dusting.
All of this on stock remachined rotors.
