That's a shame :( You have two very good model shops in Nottingham but neither stock Fujimi kits - in fact, I don't think there is a Fujimi distributor at all in the UK any more!

Can't you ask your parents or an older friend to place the orders on HLJ or Hobbysearch for you? That's what I used to do when I was too young to buy my own things by mail order.

They are generally unavailable in the UK, some mail order places may have some, but that probably doesn't help you. Hassle your folks to order some stuff from HLJ or HobbySearch. I've used both and they are fine, the stuff gets here pretty quickly after it comes in stock, and the exchange rate means you can make some killer savings...

Ah...I remember when you could walk into your LHS (UK) and the shelves would be crammed with Fujimi kits. Too bad I was too young to afford any at the time:( Nowadays you won't find any officially imported Fujimi or Aoshima kits because the distributors believe "there is no market for them":dunno: All is not lost however as it is still possible to get hold of some Fujimi stuff if you know where to look;) Regional model shows and exhibitions are a good place to try as some of the traders may have a handful of kits, likewise with some of the exhibitors and club stands selling off a few kits privately, its pot-luck at these places though. Also, very rarely, you may stumble across a LHS that ships in a few kits from the likes of HLJ to sell in their store, usually the bigger well stocked stores. The Manchester Model Shop on Deansgate is one such example, they had a few in there when I had a look last week. There are a couple of people on here who live nearby who may be willing to check it out and buy something for you (i don't live there, only visiting).

If you live in EU(like me) its not good to buy something outside EU(on web), because you have to pay customs and it will cost ALOT !

So i buy my models on finnish or european store or in web.
