Does anyone know where I can find a Turbo kit or supercharger kit for a 97 tracer/escort ls 2.0l SOHC automatic?

They were never meant to be fast, realize you own an econobox and leave it be. This car is a 'disposable'. They're not meant to go fast, they're not meant to last, they're not meant to do anything but get you around for a while, then you throw em away. Sure, have fun with it, but first off, automatic... that's no place to start man... just forget forced induction and weld a coffee can on the back of your exhaust pipe, the other kiddies will think you're fast too.

hehe, thats funny, kiddies, just cause its an auto doesnt mean it aint fast, already got otto racing muffler and k & n filter with cut off silencer and breather replacing pcv valve. The car runs low 17's which is decent. Only reply if you have helpful info. Thanks.

The only thing I agree with you on is that having an automatic is a bad starting platform. But every thing else you said it just being ignorant. Ecobox's get turbo'd all the time and prove time after time when done right they can make about double the hp. If you knew any thing about the Escort SOHC CVH history, you would know that they came from the factory turbo'd in the mid 80's. The basic CVH has been unchanged except the displacement, fuel injection and intake manifolds.
I have the 2.0 SOHC SPI in my 93 Esocrt and it has been turbo'd to 7psi for over a year now, I took it to the track once while it still had the stock 13" skinny tires it ran a 14.7. This same CVH that I and him have has proven to handle over 10psi and even 12psi with 100% stock internals, that should be good to around 13 second 1/4's, thats not slow in my book.
