hi.. it may b a bit boring subject abt paints colour n stuff. but yea, im fancying that leather interior cars. so.. ive been lookin around and found that i need to use semi-gloss colour for imitating the leather material for seats. so i tried.
then... to b honest, im not really satisfied with the results of that semi-gloss color. im using tamiya's semi-gloss black. so yea.. is it just wrong colour selection or is it just me or is there any other solution??
thx a bunch people.

Try mixing Gloss Black and Flat Black until you get the desired color.

Check out my 360 spider, madede the color for the seats and dash myself. Just use Orange and Desert yellow and your done. Same way for black, use flat black and gloss black, just like that other dude said.

I prefer very dark grey for black interiors. You can use black for a shadow color and a slightly lighter shade of grey for highlights.
I use Testors semi-gloss laquer as a top coat to get the sheen I want, though many people paint the interior with flat colors and use their finger oils to rub in a bit of sheen on the parts.
