weight of accords?

Hey I was wondering if any of you know why the 94-95 honda accords differ so much in weight. i found somewhere the LX model weighs 2022lbs whereas the EX weighs 2554lbs, are these numbers correct? if so why such a big difference in weight VTEC vs nonVTEC? thanks in advance!

I dont know about the wheight difference but if you ever drive a Vtec car you will know the diiference.

i think accords weigh more like 2800 lbs. 2000 and 2500 lbs is like a civic with no interior and an integra. I think if accords were that light it would be a fast A' ride.

I think the difference between and LX and EX is like 100lbs or so. 500 would be too big of a change.

ya, you deffinately got the wrong set of weights, the 94-97s weigh up in the 3000 lb range. My old 92 couple (lighter than the 5th gens, and 4th gen 4 doors stock), with a removed spare tire, and almost empty gas tank, i/h/e, without me, no subs, no spoiler or sunroof, weighed in at 2790.

Nah man. Thats what the goverment wheight it in at. Its bullshit but it is a nice ridn car. I havnt put it on a scale myself so I dont know the exact of it.

I think they're fucking with you because the 5th Gen Accords are much larger than the 4th and 3rd and should weigh a lot more.

It is safe to say the 94-95 Accord EX's come in at around 3100 +/- 100lbs. V6 should weigh more. I'd say the lightest the LX would be is around 2800.
