Hi
I have a 1990 buick park avenue, it has the lights that are supposed to come on automatically when its dark, it also has the feature that after you shut the car off the light will stay on for a period of time, depending on where you have the dial. Recently the night feature light thing doens't work properly. The headlight will be turned on, but dash lights, parking lights and rear lights will not go on, and also when you shut the car off, the lights shut off too, they won't stay on for the period of time like they used to. When i turn the lights on manually, all the lights work, so i know there isn't anything wrong with the rest of the lights. But i don't know exactly what switch i need to check or change. any help would be appreciated.

At least your lights go off, I had the same exact problem except the headlights stayed on, unless I disconnected the battery. It had to do with the twilight sentinel amplifier. Hope that this will help you.
BTW, I also have a 1990 Park Ave, so I'm wondering if this is a common problem, being that many people have had a problem with the twilight sentinel amplifier keeping the lights on or shutting them off when they are not supposed to be off.
