Well, i hope that this hasn't been asked before, sorry if it has. Well as i know and everybody does, is that MotoRex is the only company that can legally meet the DOT standards with the skylines and all that crashin thest and stuff whatever they do, i don't know about other companies like Fuel Imports or whatever else is out there. OK, enough talking and the question is, what are MotoRex's terms of payment?? i mean, if i want MotoRex to do all those tests, i have to pay whatever amount of money they're asking for just right away, or monthly payments ?? Do any of you guys know?? Sean, i know that you hang around here, can you answer me that question. Thanks. I'm serious about importing a Skyline by the end of this year or next and i wanna do it all legal

i believe RB Motoring can legalize now...im not sure on that one but i believe they can. they can at least sell. DOT had to sign another company to legalize car, as they were going/or will, get in trouble for aiding a monopoly. i dont know much about the payments, because i imported my car from somewhere elese (jns-imports. i order it through them, and im going to drive it into the US because i live close to the boarder. i will have it legalized though, within 6 months). i dont think theyll do monthly payments, and i believe payment is due upon completion of the legalization process. that would make sense because if you cant make the payment for the legalization they can either 1.) hold the car until you can pay or 2.) sell it.

its 15-25k depending on model/year of the vehicle. you can pay it to em on a credit or debit car, or send them a check....and if you want to save on shipping costs, you can go pick the car up and pay then.

why don't you contact rb or motorex directly?
they've got phone numbers on their sites, use them.
or email them, i'm sure they know the answer.

I imported a skyline and it got to Motorex last April. They did all the mods to it to make it legal, but the DOT isn't giving the final approval for some reason. I hear there are several skylines backed up due to this fact. Hopefully, I can get my car soon. In terms of payments, I put up half up front and the other half when I get it.
