93 pontiac died

I was driving on the highway when the charging light came ,the car started shuddering and the lights dimmed and the car died out.I pulled over then the car would not even turn over so i had to tow it home. Any thoughts

i would check the easy stuff first. Check for blown fuses and lose wires running from the battery and the alternator. It almost sounds if you have a lose wire. try to charge the battery and see if it holds a charge or allows you to start the car. the other thing it could be is your alternator could have died on you.

Sounds like battery or alternator to me.

Charge the battery and remove the alt. and take it to NAPA or Autozone and have them test it to see if its working properly
