I have a 04 EXT-LT with everything on it. Is it impossible to actually get warm air to come out of the rear overead ducts for the second and third row passengers. It appears from several tries and the manual that these ducts are for AC only. If i read correctly, you can only get heat from the floor ducts. I just want to make sure before i go complain to the dealer. Also, a rear speaker just blew out over the weekend. Music was not even remotely loud? any one else have this problem?

I have an '04 EXT, TNF, at this moment it is at the dealer for a new right door speaker and amplifier (it took them 2 weeks to get in). I began to smell burning wires and the dealer disconnected the speaker and ordered the parts. I have the truck since november and it has been to the dealer at least 5 times for different reasons.

My 2003 TNF EXT V8 does the same thing with the rear air/heat.

I had taken it into the dealer & they say it works fine. I say they are wrong. Doesn't really blow hot heat & no cold air. Just somewhat cool & luke warm.

I get into my fathers Suburban & you could hang meat in there with the rear air, or cook the meat with the heat!

I plan on taking it into another dealer to get there 2 cents on it. Alot of times, the dealer won't even tell you if there was a bulletin on problems with your car until you have it serviced for that reason. I'll bet that there is something wrong with it that they aren't willing to openly admit.

I have a 2003 LT Ext that blows cold air or hot air on demand from the rear overhead vents. You guys should definitely find someone who knows what they are doing to check it out - because yours isn't working correctly.

I have a 2004 LT EXT and the heat does come out of the overhead vents BUT it take quite a while to actually warm up. The vents are so close to the roof that I believe the outside temp is working against you.

Well, the place wherer I bought mine from siad is was working properly....yeah right!

So I am taking it into another dealer & see what they say. If that still doesn't produce any results, then I am taking it to a friend of mine that is a GM mechanic. He will not B.S me about what's going on with it.
I am sure that there is some kind of bulletin on this matter that the dealers don't want to make public knowing there would be alot of people bringing there Trailblazers back. Just my thought on it.

It doesn't matter how long mine is running in either mode, still the same results.....luke warm & not really cold

Well, round 2 with a different dealership.

A new dealership checked out the rear heat/air & siad, oh...it's working fine. No it will never blow as cold or warm as the front does, but yes, it is working fine.
My azz it is. I explained the fact that my fatehrs 2000 Suburban with the rear heat/air blows so cold that you could hang meat in there. Really, I had to turn it down for the fact that I was actually freezing!
They fed me a line of crap saying something that the Suburban had this thing that is larger than my T.B & that the Suburban would always blow colder...blah, blah, blah.

Know what.....I'm not trying to get wither dealership in any trouble, but I plan on calling up GM directly & see what they can do. I really don't think that it is working correctly. Maybe they can help..... :disappoin
