n1 evo 2 or other exhaust for my future 20g?!?!

hey guys project 11 sec gst is going great. the tein suspensions in and the edfc works great. just ordered the type s BOV and now i need advice on the exhaust. im going for a full cat back but not sure if either to go with the n1 with 3" piping or the greddy evo2 with 3" piping??? what do u guys think would work better with the 20g turbo upgrade i have planned??? and if not those exhaust does anyone have any suggestions on another exhaust or diffrent size piping???

both will work fine, it is only a preference of sound. the N-1 is said to have a more 'rice' sound and the EVO is deeper. personaly i like the EVO better and have one for myself. remember the best exhaust for a turbo is no exhaust at all. this is not to say that a custom fabricated 3" exhaust from any shop will not be good enough as well.

wow actually i have heard diffrent that the n1 and the evo 2 both have a deep sound but ok. can anyone else back up boosted spyder on that???

I had the apex N1 on my Gs, and have the 3" apex N1 sitting in the garage as we speak. the apex N1 DP should be here soon! On my Gs it sounded really nice. I liked it a lot. just sounded mean haha. I put an evo2 on my buddy's 02 eclipse GT. it sounds like a friggin porsche. it's beautiful! only thing is, I searched my ass off, and I really don't think they make an evo2 in 3". I think the one everyone has is the evo1 and I have no personal experience with so can't really comment. But I can def vouch for the N1, it's nice. if you're going for 11's, I would also suggest gettin the DP, extremepsi.com has them as a package deal right now for like 660! and I don't think you can beat that price anywhere! Give it a look and see what you think. Good luck reaching 11's!

anyways, you should get the point of the n-1/evo thing. the n-1 has a more higher pitched loud sound while the greddy is lower and more low pro. i even heard of somebody that had to change from a n-1 to a evo cuz he kept getting harassed by the cops. i have heard my EVO driving away under power and that shit is still LOUD AS HELL.

yea Boosted is right. The evo is more of a subtle grumble sound. it's very nice. The N1 is low, but not as low as the greddy. it gets louder and raspier in the higher rpms. but nothing like the ricer mufflers do. No pissed off bumble bee sounds from an apex I promise! The trick is finding the evo in 3" and seeing whatever suits your personal preference. Good luck in your search. and uh, without all wheel drive and something bigger than a 20g.. you may have trouble reaching 11's. but you will get close probably. Good luck in your quest! hopefully it works out for you!

I totally agree both of you. Expect I dont think the n1 can get raspy on a turbo. I could be totally wrong.

My exhaust is going to be louder than hell :p Just hope its not too raspy in the high rpms
