Me and my cousin took a 318 from a 86 crystler imperial and put it in a 85 dodge truck. There was no computer available from the truck or the car and we cant get any spark with the one we did get ahold of from another imperial.
Is there a simple way to wire up a dodge dist? What would be an afordable aftermarket solution to nospark?

Theres no relitivly simple setup? Ive seen a setup where you can use a gm hei module with a datsun and a jeep to triger the dist, is that posible with a dodge?

Oh boy this is stupid.
Grab a hold of your mouse. click on google search for "ramcharger central" then, search for standard electronic ignition wiring.
it takes one module, one resistor, one coil, one standard single pickup distributor, and about 6 wires, almost all of which are already on your truck.
If you need me to, I'll post it here for you with a blow by blow, but the factory elctronic ignition is super simple and works wonderfully.
I don't know what the other members here are smokin' though....
(with the execption of BleedDodge- points are ok, but what a pain in the ass!)

What Is A "crystler" And How Badly Could You Have Misspelled Relatively? Maybe This Has To Do With The Problems You're Having.

I think "chsw" may stand for "cheesewad"; but the spelling may have been to much for him.
