Thermostat replacement 1987 safari

Hi folks,
Hopefully you can help me.I need to replace the thermostat in my truck.i know that I have to enter the engine compartment from inside the vehicle.
There appears to be a stabilizer bar attached to the bolt on the passenger side of the engine compartment.
In order to get access to the bolt holding the the thermostat housing,this stabilizer bar must be moved or removed.

Help me please as I am poor!!

The thermostat is changed from the outside of the van. (it is in the front.) No need to take the dog house out.
