I got a leak in my intake manifold. I think a gasket is leaking down there. I was thinking of just putting some JB weld where the leak is. Think that a good idea??? Will it hold??

How much heat does it say it can hold? You're looking at pretty high temps, being next to the block.

u really have nothing to loose giving it a try, if that fails, then replace it, if not, your good to go

because im doing an engine swap this summer. I do have something to loose. If the JB weld gets sucked in to the intake manifold no clue whats gonna happen. But that stuff gets so hard it might just work...

They are like 20 dollars and easy to put on.. like you said, if the JB weld gets sucked into the manifold, you don't know where you are going to be stuck. Plus, how sure are you that you are going to do the swap?
