Hi
My name is chris I am hoping you can give me some HELP. I have just bought a
1989 Nissan Skyline.
But the temperature gages reads at the 2nd top marker when driving, I have changed the radiator, thermostat ,sensor and now the gage still reads the same after spending $500.00, can you please help.

Gday Im sorry to hear that you are having troubles mate, This may seem like a silly question but have you checked your gauge?? It may be faulty. Other than that Iyt could be something serious like a blown head gasket.

Uh oh.

Did you get the cooling system powerflushed by a radiator place? That could be the problem. Maybe the gauge is just fucked and the car is fine. You have to undo the 10mm bolt on the intake plenum and do it back up when water is coming out of it, when you refil the coolant. If you didnt do this that may be it.

Powerflush - if it still does it then....bah.

the gauge could be faulty, I kind of reckon the one in my car (R31 Pintara) is, cos it always stays at about 30%, even when giving it a good thrashing.
