i'm going to be getting a talon tsi, and probably a 94, must be a standard, i was wondering how do i tell if it has a 4g63 in it, and is there any difference in transmissions, or anything else that would set it apart performance wise, like better suspension and such, or governors especially, i hate those things, but anyways i'd appreciate any help

Well usually when you put up the hood, there is a sticker at the other end of where your standing, it will have DSM Motors, car name etc and then look for engine code and it should say 4g63. Mine was a silverish sticker if that would help you locate it, although im not sure its the same colour for all of them

All 90 - 94 tsi models have the 4g63 engine.

Actually production for the Talon stopped in 98
so its 1st gen 90-94, 2nd gen 95-98 (Talon)
and for the eclipse it goes 1st gen 90-94, 2nd gen 95-99, 3rd gen 2000+
