Hello all,
I just recently got my hands on my first airbush/compressor... the Tamiya Spray Work. Anyway, I realised i don't have a power source for it. The compressor runs on 7.2V battery or and 6-7.2 AC/DC adapter. I dont wish to buy the battery so I've tried to get an adpater but not sure of the power rating (W) or amps it requires.
So if anyone who has the Tamiya Spray works and uses an adapter, would you be so kind to tell me the specs of adapter you are using?
Thank you, help much appreiciated
Su.

Your LHS (local hobby shop) should have a trickle charger for 7.2 volt RC batteries that should do the trick. A little wall pack jobbie for $10 or less.
The spray work should have a data plate on it somewere that states the voltage and amperage or wattage required.
The hobby shop can also help you with a plug to hook it up.
:p
You could also contact Tamiya?

Do you mean that i plug the RC charger into the batter connector plug on the compressor and it will work? like supply enough current for it to run?
thanks again

The charger/ adapter I have plugs right into the battery. I'll assume you can find one that plugs into the battery connector in the compressor.
Did you check the Tamiya site for more info?
