Itīs my first time in a forum so I say HI! Iīm not from US and Iīm looking for my first motorcycle. I drove dirt bikes like 10 years ago. By the way, I drove 125 and 250 a few times on the streets so I donīt call it an experience. I would like to buy a sport bike but I know that a 600cc is not a good choice. It is hard to find a small good bike unless you like the pizza bikes. The prices of new bikes are 15% more than what you can find in US but you can find a 600 for 3000 or less. I was looking hard for a used 250cc kawasaki ninja but I wasnīt lucky. I have to confess I really like how it feels to drive a 600cc because I did it for a few minutes and I am not really thinking on buying anything bigger in the future. I am not looking to kill myself on a bike I canīt handle and Iīm not looking to show anything to anybody but I am looking to enjoy driving my new bike for my own satisfaction. What do you recommend me? and sorry for my english, I am trying to do my best. Thank you!

Your English isn't bad at all! Welcome to the forum! You said that you are not from the US, may I ask where you are from? Some countries have restrictions on the ccs allowed for newly licensed riders, you may want to look into that. Also, there is a MUCH WIDER market on bikes in Europe, for example. If you don't want a 600, perhaps you could find a 400, such as the Honda CBR400, which are only available as "gray market" in the US. I believe there is also a Yamaha YZF400, as well, but I may be mistaken on one if not both of those names.

If you would like to see if there is anyone from your area, please check out the AF Regional forums where you can post your general area, and find others with the same interests near-by. This may help you in finding out about the laws I spoke of earlier. Either way, good luck, and welcome again!
