few ?'s with engine swaps

this is outside of my normal forum......the skyline forum. i know you can put an rb26dett into a 240 and 200sx, but i was wondering if you can put one of the single or non turbo skyline motors rb20de or rb25det in a 99 sentra gxe-le, if not an rb, maybe one of the sr20det motors. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can put a nuclear submarine engine in a sentra if you want. With enough money anything is possible.

The rb series are all set up for rear wheel drive, therefore none of them can be swapped into the 200sx or sentra. The sr20det, on the other hand, was made in both fwd and rwd configurations, so it can be swapped pretty easily. You would just need the bluebird or gti-r det's.

can you bolt a twin turbo on the sr20det?

Yes, in fact there's a version of the sr20det that came twin turbo stock. It doesn't have any performance benefits over single turbo though, you'll just end up spending twice as much money and you'll have one hell of a time trying to tune it. Twin turbos are generally used when you have 2 banks of cylinders (v6, v8, etc), so you have one turbo per bank. The sr20 is an inline 4, so it only has one bank, so twin turbos are kind of useless.
